Chris is building his "experience bank" in ministry since having served as the youth pastor at SMCC when it began in 2001. In 2005, he began full time ministry work after having completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies at Texas State University.

Chris' role is the Associate Pastor where he assists Pastor John with the preaching responsibilities. He is also the Worship Leader as well as the Youth Pastor. He is currently studying Theology towards a Master of Arts degree in Religion at Liberty University.

Chris grew up in Leander, TX where he met his wife, Natalie. One of his deepest loves is to witness a person discover their destiny in Jesus. "It's what all of the hard work is aimed at."
